Dr. K. Coote
Dr. Coote is an accomplished educator with a rich agriculture and educational leadership background. After earning a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Production and Food Systems Management from the College of Agriculture Science and Education (C.A.S.E) in Jamaica in 2005. She worked as a Quality Control Supervisor at Caribbean Broilers Jamaica Limited for two years, where she gained valuable industry experience.
In 2007, Dr. Coote transitioned to education, where she dedicated herself to teaching and nurturing young minds. With a passion for science and agriculture, she spent over 15 years in Jamaica and the USA as a high school educator, inspiring students to explore the wonders of the natural world.
Dr. Coote's commitment to fostering success led her to further her academic journey by obtaining a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon, in 2020 and later, a Doctorate in Educational Leadership with a minor in Curriculum and Instruction from the American College of Education in Indianapolis, Indiana, in 2023. These qualifications equipped Dr. Coote with the skills to lead and innovate in educational settings.
In the 2024-2025 school year, Dr. Coote transitioned to Graduation Coach at Hertford County High School, focusing on supporting students in achieving their academic goals and preparing for future success. Dr. Coote's commitment to education and student development continues to make a significant impact.
