Health and Saftey

The health and safety of the students at HCHS is very important. HCPS is dedicated to providing for the health, wellness, and safety of our students.  We use the coordinated school health program model to develop local programs and policies that focus on prevention, case management, early intervention and remediation of health problems. Our goal is to help each child achieve and maintain optimum health, so that maximum physical, emotional and intellectual growth can occur. (NC School Health Program manual, 2014)
