Mr. James Towell

Coach Towell currently teaches Health and Physical Education at Hertford County High School. He has been the Head Baseball Coach at HCHS for the last 21 years. He graduated from Chowan College (now University) with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Physical Education in 1997. In 2019 he graduated from Concordia University-Irvine with a Master of Arts in Coaching and Athletic Administration. Originally from Gloucester, Virginia, Coach Towell have been working in the Hertford County Public School system for 26 years, teaching at both the middle and high schools.
