Mr. Stephen Atstupenas
Mr. Stephen Atstupenas, affectionately known as Coach A, has been teaching for over 20 years! He serves as our Health Science teacher and is also the CTE Department Co-Chair. Coach A received his Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine from East Carolina University in 1989 and went on to receive his Masters of Science in Exercise Physiology from UNC-G in 1991. Coach Atstupenas has previously taught Health Science and Health/Physical Education and is a Certified and Licensed Athletic Trainer. To all who know Coach A knows we can find him either doing woodwork or working on a puzzle in his spare time. When asked why CTE, Coach A simply replied, “To give back.
